Why does my back hurt after I take off my backpack?

Answered By Bailey Alberello, Editor

Carrying backpacks can hurt your back if you are carrying too much load because it gives too much strain on your back. Backpacks are used for carrying more items that cannot be carried by hands or arms alone however if it leads to overloading then your back, shoulders or neck can be strained. Gears put into the backpack should have reasonable weight to avoid stress on your back causing it to hurt.
