What kind of fabric is my backpack made of?

Different backpack manufacturers use different types of fabric material according to concept designs and purpose.

- G-30 Fabric is 75 percent lighter than other fabrics injected with silicone causing it to stretch under pressure instead of tearing or locking together.

- G-70 Fabric is twice stronger than G-30 appropriate for environment demanding higher strength and durability.

- 140 Denier Dyneema balances weight and strength. It uses polyethylene fibers having a structure similar to a diamond giving high tenacity from tearing and abrasive factor.

- 210 Denier high Tenacity Nylon is the major material on the backpacks main body providing perfect balance on high tear strength, lightweight, waterproofness and resistance to abrasions.

- 420 Denier High Tenacity Dyna Tech Nylon are used in backpack parts that should have high resistance on abrasions.

- 500 Denier High Tenacity Cordura Nylon gives good tear strength and waterproofness.

- 630 Denier Super Packcloth is a material made of smooth nylon having equal diameter threads running both vertical and horizontal directions. It is shiny in appearance and slick to the touch. It is also resistant to water abrasions and puncture.

- Shelter-Rite or 1000 Denier Nylon is a fabric injected with vinyl for complete waterproofness and exceedingly high tear strength.

- Aero Tech Mesh is woven three dimensional mesh promoting breathability and airflow found on chosen back panels, shoulder harnesses and waist belts.
