like…lots of money
especially because since many European countries unified the currency to Euros the market is real expensive
if i were you, i'd fetch a friend or two and rather goto an asian country
like,,,maybe thailand, korea, philliphines..
Just visit england you will see the whole of the third world we have every african country represented here with illegal immigrants likewise indians pakistanis and now half of eastern europe
Also depends on how much time you have. If you don't have a EU passport you're limited to 3 months only for the Schengen Zone – that's most of Europe except UK and Switzerland – Google for more info on Schengen.
Get a guidebook – Lonely Planet's Europe on a Shoestring is good – and based on your interests work out what countries and cities you'd like to see, then you can start looking at the costs. That guidebook also gives you tips on backpacking, and where to stay eg hostels are much cheaper than hotels.
I've know quite a few people who've saved $ (even made a little $) by working on farms. I believe it's called World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms—WWOOF. Sometimes you get a stipend; you usually, at least, get room and board when you pitch in a little work there.
Look them up on the web!
