My husband and I are doing an around the world trip in December, six weeks, eight destinations. We've never done any type of long distance travel before and are wondering what is going to be better – a suitcase or backpack? We're not actually backpacking, have got everything planned out – accommodation, flights, etc.

He wants to go with a suitcase, I'm thinking a backpack.

Any suggestions / recommendations??
